Duas directly from the Holy Quran
Our Lord, do not cause our hearts to stray after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from Yourself. Indeed, You are the Bestower.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and deeds accepted by You.
With Your name, my Lord, I lie down and with Your name I rise. If You should take my soul, then have mercy upon it. And if You should return my soul, then protect it with what You protect Your righteous servants.
My Lord, expand for me my breast, and make my task easy, and loosen the knot from my tongue, that they may understand my speech.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from theDua for Protection from Calamities and Illness: 'Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min zawali ni'matik...'
Our Lord, accept from us. Indeed, You are the Hearing, the Knowing.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done, and from the evil of what I have not yet done.
There is no deity worthy of worship except You. Glory be to You! Indeed, I have been among the wrongdoers.
Affliction has touched me, and you are the Most Merciful of the merciful.
Guide us to the straight path.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the decline of Your blessings, the change of Your protection, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that You are displeased with. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, from incapacity and laziness, from cowardice and stinginess, and from being overcome by debt and the oppression of men.
My Lord, expand for me my breast, and make my task easy for me.
