With Your name, my Lord, I lie down and with Your name I rise. If You should take my soul, then have mercy upon it. And if You should return my soul, then protect it with what You protect Your righteous servants.
Bismika Rabbi wada'tu janbi, wa bika arfa'uhu. In amsakta nafsi farhamha, wa in arsalta f-ahfazha bima tahfazu bihi 'ibadakas-salihin.

Narrated Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to say when he took to bed: 'O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Great Throne, our Lord and the Lord of everything, Thou holdest the earth and the mountains. Thou art the Revealer of the Tawrah and the Injil and the Furqan (i.e. the Quran). I seek refuge in Thee from the evil of every evil-doer whom Thou seizest by the forelock. Thou art the First; nothing is before Thee; Thou art the Last; nothing is after Thee; Thou art the Apparent; nothing is above Thee; Thou art the Hidden; nothing is below Thee. May I be freed from debt and from being overpowered by (other) people.' He used to say: 'When any one of you wants to go to bed, he should lie down on his right side and then say: 'Bismika Rabbi wada'tu janbi, wa bika arfa'uhu. In amsakta nafsi farhamha, wa in arsalta f-ahfazha bima tahfazu bihi 'ibadakas-salihin.' (With Your name, my Lord, I lie down and with Your name I rise. If You should take my soul, then have mercy upon it. And if You should return my soul, then protect it with what You protect Your righteous servants.)' (Sahih al-Bukhari 6320)
