Duas taught by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)
O Allah, guide me concerning them and guide them concerning me, and grant me their goodness, and unite us if You deem it best, then bless us in it.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the passing away of Your blessings, the change of Your protection, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that displeases You. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from decrepitude (old age), and I seek refuge in You from being overwhelmed (by troubles), and I seek refuge in You from defeat, and I seek refuge in You from the grief of the heart, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice, and I seek refuge in You from stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from an evil old age, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of the Dajjal, and I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from disbelief and poverty and wickedness. And I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave. O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and contentment (or self-sufficiency).
O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and contentment (wealth).
O Allah, I ask for Your pleasure and Paradise, and I seek refuge in You from Your anger and the Fire.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the passing away of Your favors, and the changing of Your protection, and the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that displeces You. And I seek refuge in You from the hardship of tribulation, and the attainment of misery, and evil decree, and the rejoicing of enemies. O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in all affairs, and determination in righteousness, and I ask You to make me thankful for Your favors, and good in worshipping You. I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue. And I ask You for the good of that which You know, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of that which You know, and I seek Your forgiveness for what You know; indeed, You are the Knower of the unseen.
"O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the overwhelming of debt and the overpowering of men."
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, from a heart that does not fear You, from a soul that is never satisfied, and from a prayer that is not answered.
O Allah, make it an expiation for his sins.
O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and richness/contentment.
"O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove the suffering, heal (him/her), for You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing, a healing that leaves no ailment behind."
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from a bad neighbour, and from a spouse who makes my hair turn grey before its time, and from a child who becomes master over me, and from wealth that becomes a torment, and from a treacherous friend.
