Narrated Tariq ibn Ashyam: I said to Safwan ibn Assal al-Muradi: 'Tell us something that you heard from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about travel.' He said: 'The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to tell us when we were on a journey: 'Have the fullest of supplications and prayers, and shorten the prayers, and make them the fullest of your needs.' Sufyan narrated: 'Allahumma-ghfir li, wa-rhamni, wa-hdini, wa-jburni, wa-'afini, wa-rzukni, wa-rfa'ni.'
