Duas for strength in old age and caring for elderly parents
O Allah, forgive me my mistakes and my intentional and unintentional sins, and forgive me my sins. And then He said: My resolve, and all of that is with me.
My Lord, grant me from among the righteous [offspring].
O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in my religion, my worldly affairs, my family, and my property. O Allah, conceal my faults and comfort my fears. O Allah, protect me from my front and from my back, from my right and from my left, and from above me, and I seek refuge in Your Might from being struck from beneath me.
O Allah, I ask You for knowledge that is beneficial, and provision that is pure, and deeds that are accepted.
My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [with] my descendants. Our Lord, and accept [my] supplication. Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the ุญุณุงุจ (reckoning) is established.
My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up [when] I was young.
O Allah, place light within my heart, light within my sight, light within my hearing, light to my right, light to my left, light before me, light behind me, light above me, light below me, and place abundant light for me.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and acceptable deeds.
O Allah, make my life after old age a good life and grant me Your pleasure.
O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful provision instead of Your unlawful provision, and enrich me by Your grace, so that I may not need to ask anyone other than You.
O Allah, help me remember You, thank You, and worship You in the best way.
My Lord, grant me from among the righteous.
