O Allah, guide me to understand Your Book and to ponder its verses and to act upon what is within it, and make it the light of my chest, the remover of my sadness, and the dispeller of my worry.

Allahumma ihdini li fahmi kitabika wa tadabburi ayatihi wal 'amali bima fihi, waj'alhu nura sadri wa jila'a huzni wa dhahaba hammi.
