Duas for children and offspring
My Lord, grant me from among the righteous.
O Allah, grant my soul its piety, and purify it, for You are the Best Purifier. You are its Guardian and its Master. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, from a heart that does not feel humble, from a soul that is not satisfied, and from a supplication that is not answered.
O Allah, make my child one who is gentle with Your favors, make him Your righteous servant, make him see good in everything, send down Your blessings upon him, make him obedient to me, and make me obedient to him, and make him among Your righteous servants.
Say, 'I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn from the evil of what He has created, and from the evil of darkness when it settles, and from the evil of the blowers in knots, and from the evil of an envier when he envies.' Say, 'I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, the King of mankind, the God of mankind, from the evil of the retreating whisperer, who whispers in the breasts of mankind, from among jinn and mankind.'
My Lord, grant me from the righteous.
O Allah, open upon us the openings of those who know.
Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example to the righteous."
O Allah, grant him understanding of the religion and teach him the interpretation (of the Qur'an).
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is forever executed. Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to one of Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the reliever of my anxiety.
O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove this suffering, and heal (him/her). You are the Healer. There is no healing but Your healing, a healing that leaves no illness behind.
My Lord, expand for me my breast, and make my task easy for me, and untie the knot from my tongue so they may understand my speech.
O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in my religion, my worldly affairs, my family, and my wealth. O Allah, conceal my faults and calm my fears. O Allah, protect me from before me and behind me, from my right and from my left, and from above me. And I seek refuge in Your Magnificence lest I be consumed from beneath me.
