Duas for relief from anxiety, worry, and distress
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, and I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the overpowering of men.
O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful provision instead of Your unlawful provision, and enrich me with Your bounty, so that I may not need anyone other than You.
O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove the suffering. Heal, for You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing, a healing that leaves no illness behind.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cessation of Your blessings, the reversal of Your well-being, the suddenness of Your vengeance, and all Your displeasure.
O Allah, I ask You for its goodness, and the goodness of what is in it, and the goodness of what it was sent with. And I seek refuge in You from its evil, and the evil of what is in it, and the evil of what it was sent with.
O Turner of the hearts, make my heart firm upon Your religion.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and acceptable deeds.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is forever enacted. Your decision concerning me is just. I ask You by every Name that You have named Yourself with, or revealed to anyone from Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the reliever of my anxiety.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief. I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness. I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess. I seek refuge in You from the overwhelming of debt and the subduing of men.
Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return. O Allah, reward me for my affliction and compensate me with something better.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, and I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the oppression of men.
O Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, Lord of all things. The One who causes the seed-grain and the date-stone to split and sprout. The One who revealed the Torah, the Gospel, and the Quran. I seek refuge in You from the evil of every creature that You are seizing by its forelock. You are the First, and there is nothing before You. You are the Last, and there is nothing after You. You are the Mostๆพ ( ุงูุธุงูุฑ - The Apparent, The Outer), and there is nothing above You. You are the Most Hidden ( ุงูุจุงุทู - The Inner), and there is nothing beyond You. Fulfill my debt and make me free from poverty.
