O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the heavy burden of debt and the overpowering of men.
All praise is due to Allah, Who revived us after He caused us to die, and to Him is the resurrection.
O Allah, grant us rain; O Allah, grant us rain; O Allah, grant us rain.
"Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire."
In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no might nor power except with Allah. O Allah, I ask You for the good of this matter and the good of what it entails, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this matter and the evil of what it entails.
O Allah, I ask You for knowledge that is beneficial, for lawful provision, and for deeds that are accepted.
O Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, our Lord and Lord of all things. The Cleaver of the grain and the date-stone, the Revealer of the Torah, the Gospel, and the Qur'an. I seek refuge in You from the evil of every evil-doer, the forelock of whom You are seizing. You are the First, and there is nothing before You; You are the Last, and there is nothing after You; You are the Outward, and there is nothing above You; You are the Inward, and there is nothing nearer than You. Discharged my debt and enrich me from poverty.
O Allah, increase me in faith, certainty, and understanding.
O Allah, I seek Your guidance [in making a choice] by virtue of Your knowledge, and I seek ability by virtue of Your power, and I ask You of Your great bounty. You have power, and I do not. You know, and I do not. You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if in Your knowledge this matter (then he mentions his need by name) is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my ultimate destiny (or he said: in my immediate and future life), then ordain it for me, make it easy for me, and then bless me in it. And if in Your knowledge this matter is bad for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my ultimate destiny (or he said: in my immediate and future life), then turn it away from me and turn me away from it, and ordain for me what is good wherever it may be, and make me content with it.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the delight of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the reliever of my worries.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from associating partners with You knowingly, and I seek Your forgiveness for that which I do not know.
I seek Your forgiveness.
