Anas reported that a man entered the mosque on the day of Jumu'ah, and Allah's Messenger (๏ทบ) was delivering the Khutbah. The man stood up and said: 'O Allah's Messenger, the drought has overtaken the land and the family, so please invoke Allah for us.' So Allah's Messenger (๏ทบ) raised his hands and said: 'O Allah, grant us rain; O Allah, grant us rain; O Allah, grant us rain.' Sahih al-Bukhari 1028
