Recite the dua with earnestness and conviction, reflecting on your need for Allah's mercy. It is also beneficial to ask for blessings upon the land and the saplings specifically, after reciting this general request for rain. Continuing to make sincere dua even after the rain begins is also part of seeking Allah's continued favor.
