اللَّهُمَّ حَوَالَيْنَا وَلاَ عَلَيْنَا، اللَّهُمَّ عَلَى الآكَامِ وَالظِّرَابِ، وَبُطُونِ الأَوْدِيَةِ، وَمَنَابِتِ الشَّجَرِ
O Allah, let it rain around us and not upon us. O Allah, let it rain on the hills and mountains, in the valleys, and on the places where trees grow.

Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We were with the Prophet (peace be upon him) during a journey, and a man came on horseback, and he started to make the Prophet (peace be upon him) turn to the right and to the left. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'O Allah, let it rain around us and not upon us.' Then the man came and said: 'O Allah, let it rain upon them.' The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Allahumma hawaleina wa la 'aleina, Allahumma 'alal-aakami wadh-dhiraabi, wa butoonil-awdiyati, wa manabitish-shajari.'
