I seek refuge in You from anxiety, sorrow, worry, panic, recklessness, ignorance, weakness, poverty, humiliation, oppression, betrayal, injustice, bad reputation, evil end, greed, misunderstanding, a prayer that is not heard, a heart that does not humble itself, a soul that is not satisfied, eyes that do not shed tears, and a supplication that is not answered. O Allah, I ask You for patience in the face of destiny, the stations of martyrs, the life of the happy, and victory over enemies. Indeed, You hear my supplication, and I am Your servant, son of Your servant, and son of Your maidservant. I have surrendered myself to You, entrusted my affair to You, turned my face towards You, and leaned my back on You out of hope and fear of You. There is no refuge or escape from You except to You. I believe in Your Book which You revealed and in Your Messenger whom You sent.
