Old Age & Elderly
Hasan HadithSunan Abi Dawud 3580

O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in my religion, my worldly affairs, my family, and my property. O Allah, conceal my faults and secure me from that which makes me uneasy. O Allah, protect me from before me, from behind me, from my right, from my left, and from above me, and I seek refuge in Your Magnificence from being struck from beneath me.

Allahumma inni as'alukal 'afiyata fid-dunya wal-akhirah. Allahumma inni as'alukal 'afwa wal-'afiyata fi deeni wa dunyaya wa ahli wa mali. Allahummastur 'awrati wa amin raw'ati. Allahumma-hfadhni min bayni yadayya wa min khalfi wa 'an yameeni wa 'an shimalee wa min fawqi, wa a'udhu bi 'adhamatika an ughtala min tahti.

Source & Authentication

‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) never abandoned these supplications in the morning and the evening: 'O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in my religion, my worldly affairs, my family, and my property. O Allah, conceal my faults and secure me from that which makes me uneasy. O Allah, protect me from before me, from behind me, from my right, from my left, and from above me, and I seek refuge in Your Magnificence from being struck from beneath me.' And he (ﷺ) said: 'Abdullah ibn ‘Umar used to say: ‘I have not seen the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) abandoning these supplications in all circumstances.' (Sunan Abi Dawud 3580)
