اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ نَفْسًا بِكَ مُطْمَئِنَّةً، تُؤْمِنُ بِلِقَائِكَ، وَتَرْضَى بِقَضَائِكَ، وَتَقْنَعُ بِعَطَائِكَ. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ نَفْسًا جَوَادًا بِخَيْرِكَ مَلْهَمَةً، تَفْعَلُ مَعْرُوفًا وَتُجْزَى بِهِ خَيْرًا.
O Allah, I ask You for a soul at peace with You, believing in meeting You, content with Your decree, and satisfied with Your bestowal. O Allah, I ask You for a soul generous with Your goodness, inspired [to do good], doing good deeds and receiving good in return.
Allahumma inni as'aluka nafsan bika mutma'innah, tu'minu biliqa'ik, wa tardha bi qada'ik, wa taqna'u bi 'ata'ik. Allahumma inni as'aluka nafsan jawwadan bikhayrika malhamah, taf'alu ma'rufan wa tujza bihi khayra.
