Narrated by Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both): The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, 'When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out to Makkah, he would say upon seeing the Kaaba: 'اللَّهُمَّ زِدْ بَيْتَكَ هَذَا تَشْرِيفًا وَتَكْرِيمًا وَتَعْظِيمًا وَبِرًّا، وَزِدْ مَنْ شَرَّفَهُ وَكَرَّمَهُ مِمَّنْ حَجَّهُ أَوِ اعْتَمَرَهُ تَشْرِيفًا وَتَكْرِيمًا وَتَعْظِيمًا وَبِرًّا.' (O Allah, increase this House in honor, nobility, glory, and piety. And increase those who have honored it and ennobled it among those who performed Hajj or 'Umrah for it, in honor, nobility, glory, and piety.) This narration is found in Sunan al-Tirmidhi, who graded it Hasan.
