O Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds, abandon evil deeds, and to love the poor. I ask You to forgive me and have mercy on me. If You intend to try a people, then take me to Yourself without trying me. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which will bring me closer to Your love.
Allahumma inni as'aluka fi'l al-khayrat, wa tark al-munkarat, wa hubb al-masakin, wa an taghfir li wa tarhamani, wa idha aradta fitnatan fi qawmin fa tawaffani ghayra maftun. As'aluka hubbak, wa hubba man yuhibbuk, wa hubba 'amalin yuqarribuni ila hubbik.
