اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُؤَلِّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِنَا، وَأَنْ تُصْلِحَ ذَاتَ بَيْنِنَا، وَأَنْ تَهْدِيَنَا سُبُلَ السَّلَامِ، وَأَنْ تُخْرِجَنَا مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ بِإِذْنِكَ، وَأَنْ تَجْعَلَنَا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْإِيمَانِ وَالْإِحْسَانِ، وَأَنْ تُبَارِكَ لَنَا فِي أَسْمَاعِنَا، وَأَبْصَارِنَا، وَقُلُوبِنَا، وَأَزْوَاجِنَا، وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا، وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ.
O Allah, I ask You to unite our hearts, to mend the discord between us, to guide us to the paths of peace, to bring us forth from darkness into light by Your permission, to make us among the people of faith and excellence, and to bless our hearing, our sight, our hearts, our spouses, and our offspring. And turn to us, indeed You are the Ever-Returning, the Most Merciful.

For example, the Prophet ﷺ said: 'The believers in their mutual kindness, compassion and sympathy are just like one body. When one of the limbs suffers, the whole body responds with sleeplessness and fever.' (Sahih al-Bukhari 6011). This spirit of unity is precisely what this supplication aims to invoke. Imam Bukhari also included a similar supplication in Al-Adab Al-Mufrad (723) which reads: 'O Allah, unite our hearts, reform the relation between us, and guide us to the ways of peace.'
