There is no god but Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs sovereignty and to Him belongs praise, and He is over all things competent. There is no might nor power except with Allah. There is no god but Allah, and we worship none but Him. To Him belongs bounty, and to Him belongs grace, and to Him belongs praise. There is no god but Allah, sincerely devoted to Him, though the disbelievers may detest it.

‘Umar bin Al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'The best supplication is the supplication on the Day of Arafah, and the best of what I and the Prophets before me said is: La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir. (There is no god but Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs sovereignty and to Him belongs praise, and He is over all things competent.)'
