اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا، وَعَمَلاً مُتَقَبَّلاً.

O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provisions, and accepted deeds.

Virtues & Benefits

This comprehensive dua covers three essential aspects of a believer's life: beneficial knowledge that guides us, good provisions that sustain us lawfully, and accepted deeds that bring us closer to Allah. By asking for these, we are essentially asking for Allah's facilitation in all our affairs, including the significant endeavor of undertaking Hajj or Umrah. Seeking accepted deeds implies asking Allah to make our Hajj/Umrah a source of His pleasure and forgiveness.

Source & Authentication

Fatimah bint Abi Hubaysh (may Allah be pleased with her) reported that she heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say when asked about praying during menstruation: 'Indeed, the prayer is a prescribed obligation upon the believers on fixed times. It is not permissible to delay it except for one who has a valid excuse, and it is not permissible for her [i.e., the menstruating woman] to delay it until she is purified...'. And when she asked about what to say during the last ten nights of Ramadan, he said: 'O Allah, I ask You for knowledge that is beneficial, sustenance that is good and pure, and deeds that are accepted.'
