Duas for improving akhlaq, manners, and behavior
O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in all matters, and determination in following guidance. I ask You for gratitude for Your blessings and excellence in Your worship. I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue. I ask You for the good You know, and I seek refuge in You from the evil You know. I seek Your forgiveness for what You know, for indeed, You are the Knower of all unseen.
O Allah, guide me to the best of characters, for no one can guide to the best of them except You. And turn me away from bad characters, for no one can turn away from the bad of them except You.
O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and richness (contentment).
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the reprehensible morals, actions, and desires.
O Allah, guide me to the best of manners, for none can guide to the best of them except You. And turn me away from the evil of manners, for none can turn away from the evil of them except You.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, and the evil of my sight, and the evil of my tongue, and the evil of my heart, and the evil of my semen.
O Allah, I ask You for the doing of good deeds, the abandoning of evil deeds, the love of the poor, and that You forgive me and have mercy on me. And if You intend a trial for a people, then take my soul without being afflicted by it. I ask You for Your love, the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds that bring me closer to Your love.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, from weakness and laziness, from cowardice and miserliness, and from being overwhelmed by debt and the domination of men.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the discontinuation of Your favors, the change of Your protection, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that displeases You. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of morals, deeds, and desires.
O Allah, make me grateful to You, mindful of You, fearful of You, obedient to You, and turning to You in repentance, humble.
O Allah, make me grateful to You, ever-returning to You, and little in myself for Your sake, and for You, and towards You. And grant me success concerning myself, and reform all my affairs. There is no god but You.
O Allah, I ask You for the doing of good deeds, and the abandonment of evil deeds, and love for the poor. And when You intend for Your creation a trial, take me to Yourself without having been tested. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which bring me closer to Your love.
