Duas for improving akhlaq, manners, and behavior
O Allah, grant me wisdom, and grant me righteousness.
O Allah, guide me to the best of character, for no one can guide to the best of it except You. And turn me away from bad character, for no one can turn away from bad character except You.
My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [also] my offspring. Our Lord, and accept my supplication.
O Allah, grant my soul its taqwa (consciousness of You), and purify it, for You are the Best Purifier. You are its Guardian and Master. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, from a heart that does not fear You, from a soul that is never satisfied, and from a supplication that is not heard.
Our Lord, grant us from Yourself mercy and prepare for us from our affair, right guidance.
O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and self-sufficiency (or contentment).
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the objectionable of manners, deeds, and desires.
O Allah, grant me wisdom and guide me to what is right, and protect me from the evil of my own self.
O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and self-sufficiency (contentment).
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the demolition of Your blessings, the reversal of Your well-being, the suddenness of Your vengeance, and all that You decree. I seek refuge in You from the trial of the grave, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of wealth, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of poverty, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of the Dajjal. O Allah, cleanse my heart with the water of snow and hail, and purify my heart from sins as You purified the white garment from dirt, and keep me far from my sins as You kept far the East and the West.
O Allah, grant my soul its taqwa (consciousness of You) and purify it, for You are the Best Purifier. You are its Guardian and its Master.
O Allah, let me live as a poor person, and let me die as a poor person, and raise me among the poor on the Day of Resurrection.
