It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'It is the right of Allah upon every Muslim that he should perform Ghusl every seven days, washing his head and his body.' (Sahih Muslim 849). It was narrated that Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri said: 'I testify that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Ghusl on the day of Jumu'ah is obligatory for every adult.' (Sahih al-Bukhari 879, Sahih Muslim 847). It was narrated from Al-Hasan bin Ali that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever performs Ghusl on Friday, then Allah will forgive him for what has passed of his sins and what will come.'
