Source & Authentication
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: 'Whoever says this, it will be a protection for him from everything.' Abdullah ibn Khabbab narrated: I was with Abu Umamah al-Bahili, and he had a fever. I said to him: 'What prevents you from seeking medical treatment?' He said: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, has not sent down any disease except that He has sent down with its cure.' I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what about the evil eye?' He said: 'The evil eye is real, and a man may be thrown from the mountain and it will be an evil eye, and when one of you performs Ghusl because of it, then let him say: (A'udhu bikalimatillahit-tammati min ghadabihi wa 'iqabihi, wa sharri 'ibadihi, wa min hamazatish-shayateeni wa an yahdurun.)' (Sunan Abi Dawud 3893, graded Sahih).
