بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
In the name of Allah, with Whose name nothing can harm on earth nor in the heaven, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: 'Whoever says this three times in the morning will not be afflicted by any calamity until the evening, and whoever says it three times in the evening will not be afflicted by any calamity until the morning.' (Sunan Abi Dawud 5088). This hadith clearly highlights the immense protective power of this dua when recited with certainty. It's a shield against harm, both seen and unseen, by invoking the One who has absolute control over all affairs.

Narrated by Uthman ibn Affan (may Allah be pleased with him): I heard Allah's Messenger ﷺ say: 'Whoever says: بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ (Bismillahilladhi la yaduru ma'asmihi shay'un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama'i wa Huwas-Samee'ul-Aleem) three times in the morning, he will not be afflicted by any calamity until the evening. And whoever says it three times in the evening, he will not be afflicted by any calamity until the morning.' — Sunan Abi Dawud 5088, Sunan Ibn Majah 3869. It is graded as Sahih.
