Narrated by Uthman ibn Affan (may Allah be pleased with him): I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Whoever says: 'Bismillahi alladhi la yadhurru ma'asmihi shay'un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama'i, wa Huwas-Samee'ul-'Aleem' (In the name of Allah, with Whose name nothing in the earth or the heaven can harm, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing) three times in the morning, will not be afflicted by any sudden calamity until the evening. And whoever says it in the evening, will not be afflicted by any sudden calamity until the morning.'
