In the name of Allah, I perform Ruqyah for you, from every ailment that harms you, from the evil of every soul and envious eye. May Allah cure you; in the name of Allah, I perform Ruqyah for you.
Bismillahi arqika, min kulli dā'in yu'dhika, wa min sharri kulli nafsin aw 'ayni ḥāsidin, Allāhu yashfīka, bismillahi arqīka.
When to Read
This powerful dua is recited as a Ruqyah (Islamic exorcism or healing supplication) for oneself or for another person afflicted by the evil eye ('ayn) or envy (ḥasad). It can be recited during times of sickness, general unease, or when suspecting an attack of the evil eye.
How to Read
When performing Ruqyah for someone else, place your right hand on the afflicted area of their body (e.g., forehead, chest). Recite the dua with sincerity and conviction, believing in Allah's power to heal. It is recommended to blow gently onto the person after reciting, as was the practice of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. For self-Ruqyah, recite it for yourself, placing your hand on the affected area.

This supplication is a direct teaching from the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ for seeking refuge from the harmful effects of envy and the evil eye. It emphasizes reliance on Allah and His perfect cure. The sincerity and faith with which it is recited unlock its potential for healing and protection, as Allah is the Ultimate Healer.
