Source & Authentication

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: 'Allah creates whatever He wills, and He created Adam from dust. Then He said: "Be", and he was. Then He created from him his wife, and created from them many men and women. And His Throne is on the water, and in the heaven is His Throne, and in the earth are His rulings. And He knows what is in the breasts [of people]. And He created the Jinn from smokeless fire." He then recited: 'A'udhu bikalimatillahit-tammati min sharri ma khalaq (I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.)' – Sahih Muslim 2708
