Source & Authentication
Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to seek refuge in Allah for Al-Hasan and Al-Husayn, saying: 'I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from every devil and every beast, and from every evil eye.' Then he would say: 'It was indeed the practice of your father (Abraham) to seek refuge in Allah with these words for Isma'il and Ishaq.' (Sahih al-Bukhari 3371). Another version taught by the Prophet (peace be upon him) is: 'I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His anger and His punishment, and from the evil of His creation, and from the temptations of devils and from their presence.' (Sunan Abi Dawud 3892)
