In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing on earth nor in the heaven can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
Bismillahilladhi la yadhurru ma'asmihi shay'un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama'i wa huwas-Sami'ul-'Aleem
When to Read
Recite this dua in the morning and evening, especially when feeling anxious about your financial situation or when you notice signs of the evil eye affecting your wealth or possessions. It's particularly potent when you are in debt, as the stress and visibility of your financial struggles can make you more susceptible to envy and the evil eye.
How to Read
Recite it three times in the morning and three times in the evening. It is recommended to do so with sincerity, conviction in Allah's power, and a humble heart. You can recite it while holding your hands out, as the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ did when teaching this supplication.
Virtues & Benefits
This powerful dua provides comprehensive protection against all forms of harm, including the insidious effects of the evil eye, which can manifest in financial difficulties, loss of blessings, or the exacerbation of existing problems like debt. By invoking Allah's name, the one with whom no harm can occur, you are placing your trust and seeking refuge in the ultimate protector. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ stated that whoever recites this three times every morning and evening will not be afflicted by any sudden affliction. (Sunan Abi Dawud 3866)

Uthman ibn Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever says: 'Bismillahilladhi la yadhurru ma'asmihi shay'un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama'i wa huwas-Sami'ul-'Aleem' (In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing on earth nor in the heaven can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing), three times in the morning, will not be afflicted by any sudden affliction until the evening. And whoever says it three times in the evening, will not be afflicted by any sudden affliction until the morning." — Sunan Abi Dawud 3866, Sunan Ibn Majah 3548. It is graded as Hasan by some scholars due to its corroborating chains.
