All praise is for Allah for the blessing of Islam and faith, and all praise is for Allah for what Allah has bestowed upon us and done good to us. All praise is for Allah for the number of every blessing and goodness, and all praise is for Allah in every situation.
*Alhamdulillah 'ala ni'matil Islam wal Iman, walhamdulillah 'ala ma an'ama Allah 'alayna wa ahsana ilayna, alhamdulillah bi 'adadi kulli ni'matin wa khayrin, walhamdulillah 'ala kulli haal.*

Virtues & Benefits
Expressing gratitude regularly is a way to acknowledge Allah's immense favour upon us. The Quran states: **'If you are grateful, I will surely increase you in favour' (Ibrahim 14:7).** This practice not only strengthens our connection with Allah but also reminds us of the good in our lives, fostering contentment and peace. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ also taught us to say: **'All praise is due to Allah who has sustained me since the beginning of my life until this day.'** (Sahih Bukhari 6306) and **'Whoever says in the morning three times: "I am pleased with Allah as a Lord, with Islam as a religion, and with Muhammad as a Prophet," it becomes incumbent upon Allah to please him on the Day of Resurrection.'** (Sunan Abi Dawud 1549, Sahih). Our dua for the evening mirrors this beautiful practice.
