In the name of Allah we enter, and in the name of Allah we leave, and in Allah, our Lord, we place our trust. O Allah, I ask You for the best of entrance and the best of exit, for a door of goodness and a door of blessing, and for the best of provisions and the best of deeds. And make us enter a truthful entrance and leave a truthful exit, and grant us from Yourself a helping authority. O Allah, open for us the doors of Your mercy, Your forgiveness, Your bounty, and Your provision, and admit us to the entrance of blessing and Your shade.
Bismillahi walajna, wa bismillahi kharajna, wa 'ala Allah Rabbina tawakkalna. Allahumma inni as'alukal khayral madkhali wa khayral makhraji, bab khayrin wa bab barakatin, wa khayri rizqin wa khayri 'amalin, wa an tudkhilana mudkhala sidqin wa an tukhrijana mukhraja sidqin, waj'al lana min ladunka sultanan naseera. Allahumma iftah lana abwaba rahmatik wa maghfiratik wa fadlik wa rizqik, wa adkhilna madkhalal barakati wa dhillik.

Narrated by Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: If a man mentions Allah’s name when he enters his house and when he eats, Satan says: 'You have no place to spend the night and no dinner.' If he mentions Allah’s name when he enters his house, but not when he eats, Satan says: 'You have a place to spend the night.' If he eats but does not mention Allah’s name, Satan says: 'You have a place to spend the night and dinner.' (Sunan Abi Dawud 3766). While this specific hadith focuses on 'Bismillah', the longer dua incorporates the essence of seeking Allah's goodness upon entering, expanding on the blessings sought.
