Dua for Entering Home: Seeking Allah's Protection from Despair and Laziness

بِسْمِ اللهِ وَلَجْنَا، وَبِسْمِ اللهِ خَرَجْنَا، وَعَلَى اللهِ رَبِّنَا تَوَكَّلْنَا. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ الْمَوْلَجِ وَخَيْرَ الْمَخْرَجِ، اسْمُ رَبِّنَا ثَبِّتْنَا، وَسَكِّنْ لَنَا الأَرْضَ، وَاجْعَلْهُ مَأْوَانَا. اللَّهُمَّ مُبْدِئَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَمُؤَخِّرَهُ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ زَوَالِ نِعْمَتِكَ، وَتَحَوُّلِ عَافِيَتِكَ، وَفُجَاءَةِ نِقْمَتِكَ، وَجَمِيعِ سَخَطِكَ. اللَّهُمَّ قِنِي شَحَّ نَفْسِي، وَاجْعَلْنِي أَوَّابًا، وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الشَّاكِرِينَ، وَاجْعَلْنِي فِي عَيْنِكَ نَظِيرًا، وَاجْعَلْنِي فِي جِوَارِكَ آمِنًا، وَهَبْ لِي قَلْبًا سَلِيمًا، وَلِسَانًا صَادِقًا، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ سُوءٍ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ الدَّابَّةِ كُلِّهَا، وَأَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ.

In the name of Allah we enter, and in the name of Allah we leave, and in Allah, our Lord, we place our trust. O Allah, I ask of You the best of entrance and the best of exit. O Allah, establish us upon the name of our Lord, make the earth subdued for us, and make it our dwelling. O Allah, Originator of all things and their Postponer, there is no god but You. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your blessings, the turning away of Your well-being, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all of Your displeasure. O Allah, protect me from the stinginess of my soul, and make me one who turns to You often, and make me among the grateful. And make me regarded in Your eyes, and make me safe in Your protection. And bestow upon me a sound heart and a truthful tongue, and I seek refuge in You from the accursed Satan, and from every evil, and from the evil of all creatures. And I ask You for the good of this world and the Hereafter.

Bismillahi walajna, wa bismillahi kharajna, wa 'alallahi Rabbana tawakkalna. Allahumma inni as'aluka khayr al-mawlij wa khayr al-makhraj. Ismu Rabbina thabbitna, wa sakhkhin lana al-ardh, waj'alhu ma'wana. Allahumma mubdi'a kulli shay'in wa mu'akhirihi, la ilaha illa Ant. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min zawali ni'matik, wa tahawwuli 'afiyatik, wa fuj'ati niqmatik, wa jami'i sakhatik. Allahumma qini shihha nafsi, waj'alni awwaban, waj'alni min ash-shakirīn, waj'alni fi 'aynika nadhiran, waj'alni fi jiwarika aminan, wa hab li qalban saliman, wa lisanan sadiqan, wa a'udhu bika min ash-shaytanir-rajim, wa min kulli su', wa min sharri ad-dab'bati kulliha, wa as'aluka khayr ad-dunya wal-akhirah.
