بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing on earth or in the heavens can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

The Hadith states: 'Whoever says this three times in the morning, he will not be afflicted by any calamity that was destined for him that day. Whoever says it three times in the evening, he will not be afflicted by any calamity that was destined for him that night.' (Sahih Abu Dawud 5087)

Uthman ibn Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Whoever says: Bismillahilladhi la yadhurru ma'asmihi shai'un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama'i wa huwas-Samee'ul-Aleem (In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing on earth or in the heavens can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing), three times, will not be afflicted by any calamity that was destined for him that day until he wakes up in the morning, and it will not be afflicted by any calamity that was destined for him that night until he wakes up.' This was narrated by Abu Dawud and authenticated by Al-Albani.
