Yahya related to me from Malik, from Nafi, that Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said, "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to say, when he heard the thunder, 'Glory be to Him Whom the thunder glorifies by His praise, and the angels too, out of awe of Him.'" (This is a mursal hadith, but is sound based on corroborating evidence from other narrations.)
