Weather & Nature
Hasan HadithSunan Abi Dawud 1543

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the decline of Your blessings, the change of Your protection, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all of Your displeasure. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from demolition, drowning, burning, and extreme old age. And I seek refuge in You from being snatched by Satan at the time of death, and from dying whilst retreating in Your path, and from dying from a venomous bite. O Allah, I ask You to grant me protection from all evil, and to fill me with Your pleasure, and to grant me success in deeds that are pleasing to You, O Most Merciful of the merciful.

Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min zawali ni'matik, wa tahawwuli 'afiyatik, wa fuj'ati niqmatik, wa jami'i sakhatik. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min al-hadmi, wal-gharaqi, wal-hariqi, wal-harami. Wa a'udhu bika min an yatakhabbatani ash-shaytanu 'indal-mawt, wa an amuta fi sabilika mudbiran, wa an amuta ladigha. Allahumma inni as'aluka an tu'idhani min ash-sharri kullih, wa an taj'ala fiya ridak, wa an tuwaffiqani lima 'indak, ya arhamar-rahimin.

Source & Authentication

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to seek refuge with Allah from the decline of blessings, the change of safety, the suddenness of His punishment, and all that He disliked. He also used to say: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from demolition, and drowning, and burning, and old age, and I seek refuge in You from being snatched by Satan at the time of death, and from dying whilst retreating, and from dying from a venomous bite. O Allah, I ask You to grant me safety from all evil, and to make me pleased with what You have decreed, and to grant me blessings in it. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of what is within me, and from the evil of what is outside me." (Narrated by Abu Dawud, graded Hasan)
