The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to say, when the cold was severe: 'O Allah! Protect me from its freezing cold, shield me from its torment, protect me from the harmful (effects) of Hellfire, and protect me from its heat.' (Sunan Abi Dawud 5085). In another narration, he ﷺ said: 'When it was cold, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would command us to say: 'O Allah! Set me free from the cold.' And when it was hot, he would command us to say: 'O Allah!
