O Allah, bless our fruits, and bless our town for us, and bless our measure (Sa' for dry goods), and bless our measure (Mudd for dry goods).

It can be recited when walking through a garden, looking at your crops, or even when seeing a lone plant growing in your surroundings. It's a moment to connect with Allah's creation and acknowledge His role in bringing forth sustenance.

How to Read

Recite this dua with sincerity and contemplation, acknowledging Allah's power over all growth and provision. Direct your heart towards the plants you are observing and envision Allah's blessing upon them. It is best recited when you have a moment of quiet reflection, perhaps while standing near the plants or looking at them from a window. Raising your hands is not specifically mentioned for this dua, but sincerity in your heart and focus on the meaning are key.

Virtues & Benefits

This supplication embodies a deep sense of gratitude and reliance on Allah for sustenance. By asking for blessings in fruits, town, and measures of grain, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was teaching us to seek Allah's favor in all aspects of provision, from the produce of the land to the community we live in. It cultivates an awareness that all growth and abundance are from Allah alone, fostering contentment and reducing anxiety about livelihood. It also reminds us of the interconnectedness of our lives with the environment and the sustenance it provides.
