Weather & Nature
Hasan HadithSunan Abi Dawud 5098

O Allah, I ask You for its (the wind/rain/weather's) goodness, the goodness of what it contains, and the goodness of what it brings. I seek refuge in You from its evil, the evil of what it contains, and the evil of what it brings. O Allah, grant us its tranquility and its abundant provision.

Allahumma inni as'aluka khayraha wa khayra ahliha wa khayra ma fiha, wa a'udhu bika min sharriha wa sharri ahliha wa sharri ma fiha. Allahummarzuqna sukunaha wa subugha rizqiha.

Source & Authentication

Narrated Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them): The Prophet ﷺ would not raise his voice over a gust of wind, but rather he would supplicate: 'Allahumma inni as'aluka khayraha wa khayra ahliha wa khayra ma fiha, wa a'udhu bika min sharriha wa sharri ahliha wa sharri ma fiha. Allahummarzuqna sukunaha wa subugha rizqiha.' (O Allah, I ask You for its goodness, the goodness of what it contains, and the goodness of what it brings. I seek refuge in You from its evil, the evil of what it contains, and the evil of what it brings. O Allah, grant us its tranquility and its abundant provision.)
