Narrated Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When a man puts on a new garment, he should say: (All praise is for Allah who clothed me with this and provided it for me without any might or power from myself). And when a man in his old clothes wears new clothes, he should say: (Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him; You honor me). And when a man wears his clothes in his journey, he should say: (O Allah, I ask You for the good of it and the good of what it was made for, and I seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil of what it was made for). — Sunan Abi Dawud 4023
