اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِهِ وَخَيْرِ مَا هُوَ لَهُ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهِ وَشَرِّ مَا هُوَ لَهُ.
O Allah, I ask You for the good of this garment and the good of what it is made for, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this garment and the evil of what it is made for.
Allahumma inni as'aluka min khairihi wa khairi ma huwa lahu, wa a'udhu bika min sharrihi wa sharri ma huwa lahu.

Narrated Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri: When the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) wore a new garment, he would mention its name, either a shirt or a cloak, and then say:اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِهِ وَخَيْرِ مَا هُوَ لَهُ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهِ وَشَرِّ مَا هُوَ لَهُ.
