Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: 'A man entered the mosque on Friday and the Prophet ﷺ was delivering the sermon. The man stood up and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, the livestock are perishing and the roads are cut off, so pray to Allah for rain.' So the Prophet ﷺ raised his hands and said: 'O Allah, grant us rain, O Allah, grant us rain, O Allah, grant us rain.'
