Dua for Guidance and Wisdom When Rain Hinders Travel

Rain
Sahih HadithSahih Muslim 899

O Allah, I ask You for its goodness, and the goodness of what is within it, and the goodness of what it has been sent with. And I seek refuge in You from its evil, and the evil of what is within it, and the evil of what it has been sent with. O Allah, make it a blessing upon us, and make it a rainfall of mercy, and do not make it a punishment. O Allah, make it a beneficial downpour.

Allahumma inni as'aluka khayraha, wa khayra ma fiha, wa khayra ma ursilat bihi, wa a'udhu bika min sharriha, wa sharri ma fiha, wa sharri ma ursilat bihi. Allahumma ij'alha barakatan 'alayna, waj'alha suqya rahmatin, wa la taj'alha 'adhaban. Allahumma ij'alha sayyaban nafi'an.
