Rain

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِيْ بِنِعْمَتِهِ تَتِمُّ الصَّالِحَاتُ

All praise is due to Allah, by whose grace good deeds are completed.

Al-hamdulillah alladhi bi-ni'matihi tatimmus-salihāt

When to Read

This beautiful expression of gratitude is particularly apt when the rain finally arrives after a period of drought or thirst. It's a moment to acknowledge Allah's timing and His immense blessings as the parched land begins to revive.

How to Read

Recite this upon seeing or experiencing the rain, especially after a prolonged dry spell. It's a declaration of inner contentment and recognition of Allah's favor. You can say it as the first drops fall or as you witness the blessings it brings.

Virtues & Benefits

This short phrase encapsulates a profound spiritual attitude: recognizing that all good things, including the vital relief of rain, are from Allah. It cultivates humility and ensures that blessings are attributed to their true Source, thereby increasing our appreciation and drawing Allah's continued pleasure upon us. It reminds us that ultimately, it is by His grace that our efforts and desires are fulfilled.
