Narrated Anas: The people complained to the Prophet ﷺ about the drought that they suffered during the time of ('Umar ibn Al-Khattab), whereupon he invoked Allah for rain. The Prophet ﷺ invoked Allah for rain, and they were given a shower of rain. So they enjoyed the rain. He said, 'Umar said, 'We invoked the rain for the sake of Al-'Abbas bin 'Abdul Muttalib.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'No, it was (because of the invocation of) 'Abbas.'
