Narrated Anas: The people of the desert requested the Prophet (ﷺ) for rain during his sermon. So, he raised his hands and supplicated for rain. Then the clouds gathered and it rained heavily. He (ﷺ) said, "It is Allah Who sends the wind, and it is He Who causes the clouds to form. He then spreads them in the sky as He wills and in layers. And you see the rain-drops falling from the clouds, and He makes them fall on whom He wills of His slaves, and of mankind, and of animals, and then they become happy." Narrated by Aisha.
