Duas directly from the Holy Quran
O Allah! Guide me and set me right, and remind me by guidance of Your guidance, and by setting right the rightness of my arrow.
My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [also] my offspring. Our Lord, and accept [my] invocation.
My Lord, increase me in knowledge.
Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.
My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [also] my offspring. Our Lord, and accept [my] supplication.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My front hair is in Your hand. Your command over me is effective. Your judgment over me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to anyone from Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, and the light of my chest, and a remover of my sorrow, and a banisher of my anxiety.
Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower.
Our Lord, pour upon us patience and plant firm our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the overwhelming of debt and the subjugation of men.
He said, "My Lord, prison is preferred to me over that which they invite me to. And if You do not avert from me their cunning, I will incline toward them and be among the ignorant."
Guide us to the straight path.
