O Allah, unite our hearts, and reconcile our differences, and guide us to the ways of peace. Deliver us from darkness into light. Keep us away from all shameful deeds, outward and inward. Bless our hearing, our sight, our hearts, our spouses, and our offspring. Accept our repentance, for indeed You are the Ever-Relenting, the Merciful.
Allahumma allif bayna qulubina, wa aslih dhata baynna, wahdina subulas-salam, wa najjina minaz-zulumaati ilan-nur, wa jannibnal-fawāḥisha ma ẓahara minha wa ma baṭan, wa barik lana fi asma'ina, wa abṣarina, wa qulubina, wa azwajina, wa dhurriyyatina, wa tub 'alayna, innaka Antat-Tawwabur-Raḥim.

This dua is a comprehensive plea for a blessed and harmonious marriage. It seeks Allah's intervention to foster love and understanding between spouses ('unite our hearts'), resolve any existing conflicts ('reconcile our differences'), and guide the couple towards a life of peace and righteousness ('guide us to the ways of peace'). The request for repentance signifies a humble acknowledgment of human fallibility and a seeking of Allah's mercy.
Source & Authentication
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught this comprehensive dua to his followers for seeking peace and harmony in their lives and relationships. It is found in Sunan Abu Dawud with a classification of Hasan (sound). Narrated by Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: 'O people, you must remain steadfast in your devotion to Allah. And you should seek to reconcile the affairs between yourselves, and obey Allah and His Messenger, if you are believers. And know that Allah does not make lawful for you the blood of a Muslim, nor his property, nor his honor. And indeed, the worst of things are their innovations, and every innovation is misguidance. And there is no strength nor power except with Allah.' And the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to say: 'O Allah, unite our hearts, and reconcile our differences, and guide us to the ways of peace. Deliver us from darkness into light. Keep us away from all shameful deeds, outward and inward. Bless our hearing, our sight, our hearts, our spouses, and our offspring. Accept our repentance, for indeed You are the Ever-Relenting, the Merciful.'
