O Allah, protect my child in my womb, and make him healthy and well, neither too much nor too little. O Allah, fill his heart with light, wisdom, and goodness, and make him safe from illnesses and ailments, and protect him from the evil of the Shaytan. O Allah, I ask You for good manners and character, and I ask You to complete his creation in the best form and make him among the righteous.
Allahumma ihfadh waladi fi batni, waj'alhu saliman 'afiyan, ghayra za'idin wa la naqisin. Allahumma imla' qalbahu nooran wa hikmatan wa tayyiban, waj'alhu saliman minal amradi wal asqami, wa qihi sharra ash-shaytan. Allahumma inni as'aluka husnal khulqi wal khuluqi, wa as'aluka an tutimma khalqahu 'ala ahsani sooratin wataj'alahu minas salihin.

For example, when seeking refuge from bad dreams: > **Arabic:** أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ غَضَبِهِ وَعِقَابِهِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ عِبَادِهِ، وَمِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِينِ وَأَنْ يَحْضُرُونِ > **Translation:** "I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His anger, His punishment, the evil of His servants, and the temptations of the devils, and that they may come to me." > — Sahih At-Tirmidhi 3494 (Hasan) 2. **Asking for good creation and character:** Allah mentions in the Quran: > **Arabic:** وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِي عَنِّي فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌ ۖ أُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِ ۖ فَلْيَسْتَجِيبُوا لِي وَلْيُؤْمِنُوا بِي لَعَلَّهُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ > **Translation:** "And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me - indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls on Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be guided." > — Al-Baqarah 2:186 The Prophet ﷺ also supplicated for others, and asking Allah for the perfection of creation and good character is a Sunnah.
