O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cessation of Your blessings, the turning of Your well-being, the suddenness of Your vengeance, and all that displeases You. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, from weakness and laziness, from cowardice and stinginess, from the burden of debt, and from the overpowering of men.
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min zawaali ni'matik, wa tahawwuli 'afiyatik, wa fuj'ati niqmatik, wa jamee'i sakhatik. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-hammi wal-hazani, wal-'ajzi wal-kasali, wal-jubni wal-bukhli, wa dala'id-dayni, wa ghalabatir-rijaal.
